BMW from June 2018 has updated the software/firmware on  BMW F Chassis, Mini and Rolls Royce vehicles that
combat the use of KM/Mile Freezers. BMW is also updating the software of any pre-June 2018
F Chassis, Mini and Rolls Royce vehicles when returned to the dealership for servicing or maintenance.
You will need this Freezer for any of these vehicles with BMW’s software/firmware update.

Activation of the can blocker, Press the BC button on the Main beam lever for 10 seconds
The installation is simple and fast
Activation flashes in the instrument cluster

OPERATION

Is by pressing the “BC” or “i” Button for 10 seconds. Functional sequence:

Mode 1 – shows correct driving speed and odometer is stopped (0% count) – works only on cars without BMW 2019 software update

Mode 2 – shows 10% driving speed and odometer counts 10% (70mph = 7mph) – works with new software

Mode 3 – shows correct driving speed at all times and odometer is slowed down (counts 25%) – works with new software update and Live Cockpit

Mode 4 – shows correct driving speed at all times and odometer is slowed down (counts 30%) – works with new software update and Live Cockpit

Mode 5 – mileage freezer is turned off; 100% count and speed displayed as normal Activation – deactivation and switching between modes anytime via holding the BC button

installation is straightforward, remove the instrument cluster, remove the instrument cluster plug, insert the Stop filter. That’s it.

The Freezer is plug and play, with no cutting of any wires.

Please note in April 2019 BMW, Mini and Rolls Royce developed updated speedometer firmware for all new F-chassis vehicles

Mini and Rolls Royce in order to combat the use of mileage stoppers. BMW also update the software of older cars during service,

warranty work or software related issue repairs. Nonetheless our device has several modes

designed for different software versions and will work in any case.
