Installation

The module is designed for plug-and-play installation behind the instrument cluster. Follow the supplied fitting instructions for the specific Ford application.

The general installation process is:

1. Switch the ignition off and allow the vehicle’s electrical system to shut down.
2. Access the instrument cluster using the correct Ford model-specific trim-removal procedure.
3. Disconnect the original cluster connector.
4. Connect the module inline between the vehicle loom and instrument cluster using the matching plug connections.
5. Make sure all connectors are fully seated.
6. Secure the module and wiring away from moving parts, sharp edges and areas where the loom could become trapped.
7. Refit the instrument cluster and trim.
8. Switch the vehicle back on and confirm normal speedometer, cruise-control and dashboard operation.
