❎ Activation of the KM Freezer for the Audi A3/S3/RS3 8V from 2016 with a Virtual Cockpit with functioning speed display is done in this way:

The activation of the speedometer with a functioning speed display in the Audi A3/S3/RS3 8V with Virtual Cockpit/without Virtual Cockpit is done by pressing the OK button for 10 seconds, which is located on the steering wheel. Press the Ok button for 10 seconds → Mode 1. Press the Ok button for 10 seconds → Mode 2. Press the Ok button for 10 seconds → Mode 3

Functional sequence:

Mode 1: The actual speed is displayed permanently – only 25% of the actually driven distance is counted. From 100 Miles/Km, only 25 Miles/Km is counted.

Mode 2: The actual speed is displayed permanently – only 10% of the actually driven distance is counted. From 100 Miles/Km, only 5 Miles/Km is counted.

Mode 3: Everything back to the original mileage counting ✅

Please note percentages quoted above can differ, and relevant to the cars actual software.

Mode 1

Simultaneously press the return button ↩️ on the steering wheel and the arrow key to the left ◀️
the kilometres/miles are not recorded.
The Km/h speedometer always works up to a speed of 20 km/h.
Above 20 km/h the speedometer works for 10 seconds. (Acceleration phase)
After 10 seconds, the Km/h speedometer stops and drops to zero.
If you come to a standstill or a speed below 20 km/h, the correct speed will be displayed again for 10 seconds.

Mode 2

If you simultaneously press the return button ↩️ on the steering wheel and the arrow key to the right,
Only half of the kilometres driven will be recorded. (50%)
The tachometer in this mode works continuously but displays half the actual speed.

Mode Normal

The kilometres are recorded completely and everything works as usual.
