It temporarily stops mileage (or kilometres) from being recorded while the vehicle is in motion, and is intended only for off-road use, dyno testing, and vehicle development or tuning.

How the mileage blocker works

The module is a small microcomputer that plugs into the wiring behind the vehicle’s instrument cluster. It selectively blocks and filters the mileage signal so that the odometer and related control units do not record additional distance while the module is active, while the system remains stable with no warning lights when correctly installed. When deactivated, the vehicle behaves as normal and mileage is recorded in the usual way.

Full Installation Instructions

1. Switch the vehicle off and allow the electrical systems to shut down.
2. Access and remove the instrument cluster using the correct procedure for the vehicle.
3. Disconnect the original cluster / dashboard plug.
4. Connect the module inline between the original vehicle harness and the instrument cluster using the supplied original-style connectors.
5. On harnesses with a Pin 1 marker, align the connector marker correctly and connect the cluster side first.
6. Ensure the plugs are fully seated, secure the module and route the wiring away from sharp edges or moving parts.
7. Refit the cluster and trim.
8. Switch the vehicle back on and verify normal display and vehicle functions.

No cutting or soldering is required.

Activation / Mode Change

• Hold the BC button (or i button, depending on vehicle) for 10 seconds; repeat to cycle modes.

Modes

• Mode 1 — Correct speed; 0% mileage. This applies to vehicles without the 2019 software update.
• Mode 2 — 10% displayed speed and 10% mileage; described for newer software.
• Mode 3 — Correct speed; 25% mileage; described for newer software / Live Cockpit.
• Mode 4 — Correct speed; 30% mileage; described for newer software / Live Cockpit.
• Mode 5 — Normal operation / 100%.

Return To Normal

• Cycle to Mode 5 (normal).

Confirmation

• Instrument cluster/indicators flash to confirm mode.
