• Mode 3 — Normal: Repeating the same sequence restores normal operation and mileage recording.

To return from the active setting to normal operation, repeat the four high-beam pulls within two seconds.

4. Connect the module inline between the vehicle wiring loom and the instrument cluster.
5. Where a Pin 1 or alignment mark is provided, align the connector correctly without forcing it.
6. On later Audi / VAG harnesses, connect the cluster end first where instructed by the supplied fitting guide.
7. Confirm that all plugs are correctly oriented and fully seated.
8. Secure the wiring and module so they cannot be trapped, pinched or strained.
9. Refit the instrument cluster and trim.
10. Switch the vehicle back on and confirm normal instrument-cluster and assistance-system operation.
